Executive Coaching

My approach is candid . . . and empathetic. I’m passionate about helping individual leaders and leadership teams build the muscle needed to go the distance. I use a “3 R’s” framework (Relationships, Relevance, and Results) to help leaders foster the effective, authentic relationships and relevant skills needed to deliver tangible business and personal results. I’m adept at clarifying the critical paths to success, helping clients uncover what works, what doesn’t and what’s needed next.

Leaders seek my support when they dream bigger than their current capacity can deliver. This may be part of the normal growth of a team where nothing is “wrong” but expanding strategy or increasing talent is what’s needed next.

Frequently, this includes a focus on vision, mission and values, strategic planning, culture, exploration of an organization’s “how” (including its theory of change), and scaling or duplication.

Managing change or risk

When leaders face existential threats that range from lack of clarity or alignment, to reputational, physical or economic risk or vulnerability,  my expertise in crisis management, stewarding stakeholder relationship and crisis communication is an invaluable resource.

Leadership and Team Development

I offer a range of services designed to help clients foster trust, communication and shared vision among individuals at varying levels in their organizations. Frequently that looks like:

Group Training for single organizations focused on skill building including interpersonal communication, effective feedback, building trust and psychological safety, stakeholder engagement and mobilization, values identification, and visioning.

Cohort Training for individuals/teams from multiple organizations to build relationships, skills and accountability across multiple sectors or a peer cohort.

Leadership Labs

Let’s Go Deep Leadership Lab is an empowering approach and curriculum that evolved over time in response to gaps in individual and organizational resilience; a felt desire to increase skills and leadership capacity; and a genuine longing for continued connection.

“Let’s Go Deep” is collaborative at its core. Infused with the contributions of leaders I have worked with from multiple sectors over the last 25 years, the method is rooted in what each of us share, a common humanity. Throughout the program individuals move through discovery of shared values, purpose, and an understanding of the human dynamics that fuel or foil our ability to achieve goals and advance missions.

I deliver these labs in person, using destination retreat locations with groups from single or multiple organizations. Over a relatively short duration of four days participants explore their own leadership, build essential skills, experience deep levels of growth, and create lasting peer relationships. When necessary, Labs can also be conducted virtually.

Labs increase interpersonal and team effectiveness, and the ability to articulate and act on vision and mission. Labs foster a peer support network designed to generate ongoing connection, relationships, and shared resources among participants.

As part of the “Let’s Go Deep” Labs, participants convene for monthly or bi-monthly Cohort Connections, and have the additional option for 1:1 coaching for 6 months.
